Who we work with · Boating & marine
Websites and marketing for boat services, charter and nautical shops.
A boat owner from Munich looks for an engine service in Šibenik in March, in German, and books with the first company that answers with clear prices and a date. We build sites, profiles and ads that answer before the competition, for marine businesses from Vodice and Tribunj to Mandalina, Kremik and Sukošan.
How sailors search
From abroad, in English and German, out of season.
Boating has a different calendar from tourism. Services, antifouling, winter storage and boat preparation are booked from October to April. Charter is booked in January and February. The searches are specific and expensive: “boat service Šibenik”, “Motorservice Kroatien Marina”, “yacht charter Zadar”, “antifouling Vodice”.
The customer is experienced and impatient: they want to see what you do, which brands you service, which certificates you hold, prices or at least a range, and how to contact you in two taps. A Croatian-only site with generic copy does not hold them.
So we build a site with services and brands in English and German, a Google profile that wins next to the marina and ads aimed at boat owners in the countries they come from, months before the season.
What we build
- A page per service and engine brand, in English and German
- An enquiry with boat details, date and location, in two steps
- Google Business Profile with categories for service, charter or shop, and sailors' reviews
- Instagram with the work itself, not just boats in the sun
- Google Ads on searches from Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia, out of season
- Tracking of enquiries per language and country
OutcomeServices and charters booked before the season, at better prices than emergency summer repairs.
What we measure
Enquiries per country and language, not visits.
In boating one booked service or charter is worth more than a hundred visits. We measure what leads to a contract.
Metrics for marine businesses
| Metric | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Enquiries per country and language | Where the customers who actually book come from |
| Cost per enquiry out of season | That is when the year's work is booked |
| Calls and directions from Google Maps | Sailors already in the marina who need a service now |
| Enquiry-to-job rate | Is the form clear enough and the reply fast enough |
| Sailors' reviews and rating | Decisive for a customer who cannot visit before arriving |
FAQ
For marine businesses.
Do we need a German version of the site?
If your customers come from Germany and Austria, yes. Sailors from those countries search in German and book more often with companies that answer in their language. Each language gets its own pages and Google tags.
When is the best time to start ads?
For services and winter storage in September and October, for charter in December and January. Summer ads catch emergency repairs, which are more expensive for the customer but less predictable for you.
Do you also work for marinas and nautical shops?
Yes. For marinas the key is a Maps profile with berths and services and a site with berth prices; for shops an online store or at least a catalogue with an enquiry, plus local SEO for buyers already in the marina.
